Scientometric system
Scientometrics is the science of measuring and analyzing science, which measures the scientific productions of researchers, universities and countries in the form of quantitative variables. Scientometric indicators include indicators for evaluating the quantity and quality of scientific output of researchers, which can be the basis for evaluating, ranking and promoting academic staff members .
Iran Scientometric Information Database (ISID) was implemented by the Center for Development and Coordination of Scientific Information and Publications (IRAN Ministry of Health) in order to extract and display the up-to-date scientific metrics of the academic staff members of Iran's universities of medical sciences. Scientific indicators of faculty members in the ISID system include the number of articles published, the total number of citations received, the average number of citations per article, the h-Index , the h-Index without self-citations, the h-Index without authors' self-citations. The basis for calculating scientific metrics in the ISID system is the latest data extracted from the Scopus database , Google Scholar, Researcher ID, ORCID ID and CV.
National system of ethics in biological research
Due to the ever-increasing advances in medical sciences and the quantitative and qualitative improvement of medical sciences research, emphasis on compliance with religious, legal and ethical standards in research. Implementation of various research projects, including human research and data collection and storage, increase the concern of abuse and harming people and not complying with ethical standards in the design and implementation of projects and the illegal use of this information. In the Declarations of 1947 Nuremberg, 1975 Helsinki and 1978 Belmont, principles, rules and standards were established in this field and countries were advised to implement these ethical codes in biological science research to prevent possible abuses. At the 18th EM/ACHR meeting of the World Health Organization in 1995 (in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), it was recommended that the national ethics committees in biological science research in all countries of the region approve and monitor the national code of ethics in medical science research.
In this regard , the National System of Ethics in Biological Research has been formed, which provides the following 4 services:
