Mission of Research & Technology Deputy

Development based on research and technology is a basic principle of development in a developed coutry. The Research and Technology Deputy in the school of Medical Education and Learning Technologies intends to move in line with the vision of Shahid Beheshti University with the efforts, dedication and continuous cooperation of its researchers and with effective communication with society and industry. The planned program of research and development based on needs assessment in the sciences and technologies of medical education is necessary for the targeted and continuous improvement of quality in the faculty. We want to be recognized as a reference, leading and innovative faculty in medical education research, as well as a pioneer in the production and dissemination of new medical education knowledge and technologies in the country. Therefore, in line with the vision of the university, which is influenced by the twenty-year vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it carries out the following missions in the field of research:

 •      Basic, applied and developmental research related to education, virtualization of education, health and related technologies

 •      Education and training of human resources in the research/technology field and improving their competencies. 

Objectives:

• Development of basic and applied research in  medical education sciences according to the predetermined priorities of society and industry.
• Creating a suitable platform for being up-to-date in the use of new research technologies.
• Quantitative, qualitative development and commercialization of research products / product-oriented theses
• Supporting researchers
• Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of researches
• Quantitative and qualitative development in human, financial and physical resources
